Fishing has remained constant with most anglers having good catches. Justin Wells bivvied up in swim 6 and, using Cell with a scattering of freebies fished to the margin, landed 6 fish to a 16.08 PB. His mate Greg Pollock opted for swim 7 and also fished the margins and mid-water. Using the same bait he slipped his net under 9 to an 18.08 common. Mate Jim Hine bivvied up in swim 8. The same bait and method also worked for him and he had 9 to 16.08. Chris Price set up in swim 2 and used 18mm Cell which netted him 3 mid-doubles. He also tried floating bread and was rewarded with a 22 on the mat. Stewart Stubbs found that Blitz over a pva of crushed boilies worked for him. Fishing mid-water from swim 5 he banked 8 doubles upto a 19.08 common. Brian Tuck fished from swim 6 with Krab & Krill over Ellipse pellets. He had 5 to 13. Martin Howse opted for swim 7 and tempted 7 fish to 16.14 also with Krab & Krill. Plain sweetcorn worked for Jake Whalley. Fishing from swim 3 he slipped his net under 6 fish from 13 to 15.08. Regular Wes Prowton paid us a visit for the day and fished from swim 3, baiting up with Red Fish. He had a 14 common and a 19. The ‘Marlow Crew’ booked the lake for a weekend and enticed 35 fish out on various baits. Jason and son Ricky Kirby did their session from swim 7. Using Source over a pva of pellets they landed 15 fish to 19.12. Terry Chamberlain opted for swim 1 and tempted 5 up to a 20 common on Cell. Harvey Chamberlain fished from swim 2 and had 3 to 18.02 on the same bait. Kurt Chamberlain had 7 to 17.06 from swim 3 using Cell with a scattering of freebies. Finally Lee Willmot fished from swim 4 and, using the same bait and freebies, landed 5 to a 20.01 common.
